How Professional Branding Can Uplevel Your Business

Carrie Wulf is the owner of Wulfden Virtual Assistants. She has been in business for two years and really wanted to brand herself to reflect what she and her business is all about. 

Her clientele consists of Business Coaches, Trainers, and Speakers, and she is committed to helping them regain control of their inbox and hectic schedules. This achieves both an optimized productivity schedule and inbox zero, which gives them more time to do what they love.

Her life as a military spouse has made her an expert in organization, professionalism, and commitment. You can read more about her bio and who she serves on her website. 

Carrie has built this business and found success initially, but she realized something was missing, or at the very least, not communicating. It was her brand. 

The Challenges Carrie Faced

Carrie created her own logo and branding as she was first building her business. She used various free content creation platforms, like Canva, to create her branding scheme. This worked for Carrie at the time to get her business up and started. 

As time passed, she realized the logo and branding did not convey the service niche or brand of Wulfden Virtual Assistants. She liked what she had created, but it was not evolving with the business, and eventually, the business grew to where one was not conveying the other. 

There was no audience engagement, and Carrie found that her audience could not easily tell the logo what services were provided by the business. This led to Carrie reaching out to DJR Designs.

Time to Call an Expert

After some initial hesitation about the cost of professional branding, Carrie found that having a quality logo and branding pays for itself time after time. It is ok to invest in your business. 

I created her logo and branding concepts. I provided Carrie with a color board with the color codes and combinations for ease of access when creating content. I included a file with several choices and combinations of logo and brand colors that create a cohesive brand throughout all content.

Wulfden Virtual Assistants LogoCarrie has benefited from having the different parts of the branding done to have a cohesive look across all platforms and documents. She saw an uptick in brand recognition. Her audience has started to put the icon (logo) and Carrie together in their minds.

The traffic to both the Wulfden Virtual Assistants website and YouTube channel is growing. Carrie has also seen growth in her email list reach as well. This had changed from before, where her audience was having the disconnect between the brand and logo and what the business provided in services. 

Carrie has saved time as well when creating new content for her business. With the file of branding assets I provided, she can grab the asset and drop it into the content she is creating. She loves the ability to have several choices and combinations that work together, so the content is on-brand no matter what.
